After six fruitful years of encouraging artists and engaging in many diverse activities as we sought to nurture the soul of the city through the arts, ArtsCharlotte is ending our time as a non-profit organization. Over the years of ebb and flow, including this past pandemic year, changes in life circumstances, moves, and other responsibilities have impacted the capacity of the Core Team leaders to serve ArtsCharlotte and its vision well. Each of them feels God leading them in new directions for serving artists in our city.
Thank you for your involvement in so many ways. We encourage all of you to individually continue your artistic pursuits and the relationships that you have developed over the years through ArtsCharlotte. These relationships are fostering new partnerships and creative growth throughout our city.
Being part of ArtsCharlotte has been a wonderful experience for all of us on the Core Team. Our hearts are still for the city of Charlotte and the surrounding areas, and we can’t wait to see what comes next for the arts and artists. Don’t hesitate to contact any of us to let us know about your latest projects and pursuits.
Dianne Collard, ArtsCharlotte’s Director, is continuing her personal ministry focused on nurturing the souls of the artists of Charlotte. You will be hearing from her in the coming weeks about this ministry and her heart to serve artists.
