Writers! The ArtsCharlotte Writers’ Community invites you to a Writers’ Brunch. We’ll get together at the home of Rachel Donahue for food and discussion around our writing. Two of our discussion topics will come from segments of National Book Award Winner Walter Wangerin, Jr.’s book for writers, Beate Not the Poore Desk. We’ll discuss Wangerin’s thoughts on writing as art and his advice to writers to “keep your day job.” Join us from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Donahue home in Indian Trail for a great time of conversation and connection among writers. RSVP to let us know you’re planning to come, but also feel free to come last-minute–we’ll have extra food!
